The supposedly-september post. Two months belated.

Late is always better than never right?
Was too damn bloody busy. Now it's relaxation time.

Typically consisted of term 1's assessments.

Way to school. Heavy showers, flooded quite a depth.

Shoes totally soaked. Clothing and hair were wet too.
Compare the first picture and this, you can't even see the "traffic white line" here.

In the midst of furniture design studio project: wooden mould ready for pvc vacuum-forming.

Result was totally not ideal, there were folded skirtings at the side (already trimmed off, can't exactly see them clearly here).

We were eating at the chicken rice place, while discussing the content of coke.
I believed it contains caramel to produce the brown colouration.
Upon looking up the ingredient list, this was the first time that we notice THE BARCODE IS "WOOOO"!

Very simple packaged fruit juices spotted in the supermart.
Cute...!
But overpriced. Hmpf.
Hence, i didn't buy.

The very funny (in terms of character) big furry cat in the neighbourhood. (Anyway i've moved house already, as of end-october.)
Whenever i walk past its house, it will stare at me, then run a little, stare at me again, run a little again. -_- Bloody cute, and it looks totally like a carpet when it's lying down. And i know this breed of cat is definitely quite expensive.

Seminar posters up!
My group is the white a3 poster with a drawing pen dipped in a cuppa coffee, with the topic "a designer's muse".
Okie my fault for the badly photoshopped pen-coffee combo, cus it was done in a rush. Pen was standing unnaturally and awkwardly, i know i know zzz.

We were eating at the al fresco area at the canteen, while being entertained by some birds having a food fight.

Two mynas were fighting over a drumstick!!! It was rather funny. I just had to take the picture!

Picture.

Below.

Erm......

Blame it on my hp's shutter lag. =c
When i clicked it, the two birds flew away within half a second. -.-
They laughed at my epic-failed photo.

Anyway, i photoshopped something which is supposed to be the result.

LOLS bloody wasted, it could have been a great candid shot.

Anyway, just a food for thought.
Either they don't mind eating their own kinds, or their bird brains didn't manage to figure out that the drumstick belonged to a CHICKEN (and chicken is a kind of bird too).

LOLS. Never mind though - it's not exactly considered cannibalism.

-

A day before assessment.

Lg was here to help out with my cannot-make-it-on-time stuffs.

The 1:20 furniture model needs to be coated then dried then sanded smooth and coated then dried then sanded smooth, for at least 10 layers.

Shots with com's cam.

And this pic has been stuck on my msn display picture till now.
Lols since lg said he like this picture. -_-

-

Assessment.

Presentation/concept boards, study models, folders of sketches, and final model sprayed in babyblue (LOLS).
And in case you can't tell, it's a stool/chair. Don't worry, it's not your fault if you think it doesn't look like one.

Lively coloured injected into old structures.

Last 12 hours to go... It's messy-and-rushy.

-

Post-assessment.

Sleeping in the library (after days of burning midnight oil).

People were all sleeping, while waiting for the head-of-department to come and give a lecture as debrief. The same old statement, "you are all lacking of time management, blah blah...!"
Animated, because wanted to show the lit up version, just in case it's not visible enough.

Spotted a huge grasshopper outside burlington square.

-

Second week.

Shot one.

Shot two.

Shot three.

Three pictures above belongs to yan ni.

Last presentation before the one-week break. A group ppt presentation on design & culture (chosen topic was "oriental").
This was something extra, a mini exhibition. Since our definition of the orient includes korea, japan, china, vietnam, etc, we had the items on display. LOLS lecturer didn't really bother checking it out though.

Actually in my opinion, the people of oriental is very similar. The culture influences one another.
Basically, if you place a korean, japanese, chinese and vietnamese man in a row, with them having the same hairstyle and clothing, it's very hard to identify who is what race. They all look about the same.
Similar skin colour.
And the special thing about them is that they specialize in using chopsticks too. (Me likes chopsticks yay.)

The kopitiam foodcourt near campus at bras basah (known as "plaza by the park") has a fabulous stall, despite me being always skeptic about overpriced foodcourts.
But at $5, my salad prawns with rice is really fab!!! There's even a fried egg, cucumber slices and free soup. Super huge serving with the WAAHH factor from other people (not because the rice is a lot, but the prawns they served me is really too many), had expected a stingy amount, but it wasn't~~~ Quite big prawns somemore. And quite yummy tooooo.

-

Short break to catch up with breath.

Kinda rare to take a candid shot with expression. (Don't ask me remove this leh lolsss.)

He doesn't like me taking pic this manner, saying people are watching or don't know what. Zzzzz.

LOLS. -_-

This bowl-noodles cheated my feelings.
Totally tasted nothing like crab-egg nor abalone.

Cakes from royal's cafe again.
Mini eclair at the left (actually not very tasty) and the usual american walnut brownie at the right.

-

Start of a new term. New studio projects.

The very beginning (once again).
Furniture design studio, this time a duo partnership, a full-scale 1:1 chair with backrest, using paper products for covering.

Three monochromic cats lazing next to a garbage collection structure.

Furniture design studio in process. Idea-storming.

The most humungous mooncake i've ever seen in my life!

Although it's just a airblown thingy but it's huge lo, can't imagine having to eat it, wtf.

Furniture design studio process/progress.

Peanut butter waffle at fortune centre is rather crispy but not fragrance enough.

I quote the van, "FROZEN curries, FROZEN vegetables, FROZEN parathas", are they indeed the original taste of india???
Lols i didn't know that the original indian cuisine is supposed to be frozen or have the freezer-taste.

Broken necklace which i haven't get to fix till now. Didn't have the chance to drop by any of their branches. It was broken once sometime ago, and the careless me broke it again. =c
It's a first mensiversary gift from lg, so it's quite significant to me.

Lady boss bought me chocolate-coated marshmellows from australia.
I think it's not easy to find marshmellows with dark chocolate and coconut flakes in singapore. Even in candy empire, it's always typically milk chocolate being used.

Okie found the site. -_-

Lols here's a close-up, showing the fluffy appetizing bite.

Another royal's cafe's cake again.
Banana chocolate if i didn't remember wrongly.
It's nice. =D

-

Rhino software. Modeling of the diamond.

The fake diamond reference. A chosen object to model after.

This blueberry juice is actually not bad.

Another week of furniture design studio's progess, continued.

Had to attend some talk by some texas theatre costume designer (which is actually none of my business leh lols).

John, my indian classmate, has huge feet.
LOLS okie lar actually not huge, since i know quite a few guys also size 12.
Just in contrast with the size 4.

Furniture design studio, collecting drinks carton boxes (tetra pak).

Yay flowers for my manager for her last day of work.

-

Okie hopefully will be back soon to finish up october post. And better still, november.

Lols am waiting for yan ni's research seminar photos and gbcamp pics.

Yay ton with lg very soon. =D

Good night (morning), it's like 8.30am already. Gotta sleep.

=) LOLS.

Finally august. Not that i'm very free to post, just that now stuck and (hence having) nothing to do in class.

(Continued on 12oct09.) August post featuring model-making for residential design studio.

A bread you can purchase at 7-11s. Very cute graphics! Taste-wise not so bad.

I kinda enjoy writing, btw.

There was this quite well-groomed stray cat.

Went under the blue recycling bin.

Jumped onto the bin.

So here's a rather meaningless video of the above.

Chewing grass. Boliao lar, but at least it's pretty photogenic right.

Leftover foam board from group's studio project.

Random scene one - foliage.

Random scene two - something i like to sit on while waiting.

-

Second week.

LOLS damn cute sia the cushions i made. -_- Bhb.

Together as sets. (Anyway so sad the two small cushions were lost later on, just before the submission.)

Kfc stuffs. That hot devil spicy lime drumlets and an awfully-not-crispy-at-all nachos with horrible-sauce-that-tasted-like-ketchup-anyhow-self-mixed salsa.
Gotta be the worst nachos and sauce dip ever...

Model-making for group's residential design studio.

Furniture setsss.

Wanteng's powerful miniature cloth hangers and little tiny books (there's a bookend somemore)!
Each book is smaller than a typical finger. So bloody tiny, i'll never have such patience to do them.

Ton-ned overnight at laura's hostel, were all turning pretty much crazy due to lack of sleep and continuous work.

The final result. Facade, showing the doors and windows.

The first storey, with opened folding glass doors at the back.

Second storey, the bedroom, bathroom and walk-in closet.

The mini library.

Overall interior. =DDD

Simple master bathroom with double-showers.

A view looked from the top.

Close-up of living area.

View peeped in from the back folding glass doors.

Damn accomplished for the group. A lot of hardwork, but was a really great group experience though. Everybody have their niche and all gave in full effort.

=DDD

Ate udders with damon, the ex-colleague aka makan buddy. Damn nice ice cream.
He had the lychee martini (top left) and bailey's & bourbon (top right).
I had the bailey's & bourbon (bottom left) and java whiskey choc (bottom right).
Yumyum.

-

Third week.

I caught a cat catching lizard.

Processing modelling of selected chair.

Overslept on bus while heading home, missed by one stop, saw rainbow in tampines during the first day of lunar 7th hungry month~
(Yes you read that right, "hungry month" has no typo intended lols.)
Weird to spot a rainbow without any rain previously.

Honestly, the clouds looked very strange (not obvious from image).

Sorry, the strange clouds still not obvious.

Outdoor public presentation at marina square. Woohoo was quite interesting and fresh experience leh.

First group to go.

The other class.

Lecturer's top choice of "young designers look".

S'pore arts scene lecture. Room very amazing, so many used drink bottles/cans hidden at the back.
And a big number of the vitamin c super sour lemon power drink (circled in red), zzz.

And this is cute, ha ha.

Seriously, the graphic there of the pasta/prawn on the fork, looks totally like those chinese soupy prawn mee, doesn't it? FAIL, LOLS.

-

Last week lo yay.

I have never quited the habit of taking picture in campus' toilets since year 1, LOLS so sorry.

Processing, furniture design studio.

Bus back home.

Made new specs.
Thanks to some stupid year 1 girl who claimed my previous old specs was hers when somebody founded it (that's equal to stealing, in my opinion).
She was only one step ahead of me, i wanted to collect it but my old specs was gone with her already.

Wasted my $$$ to make a new pair, and sad to part with my four-year old specs. =c
But surprisingly my eyesight did not worsen leh, upon a new eye checkup.
I was damn lols when my eye checker was a young man who looks like my favourite politician.

The previous old specs, image dated in 2005.

A size4 leg, wearing a size12 huge slipper.

Furniture design studio. Vacuum-forming did not work as expected.

Both withdrawn, gotta redo.

Insect that stuck onto my seat's glass panel - exterior of bus.

Singart sticker is cute. And it's blue.

You can see from the exposure, that it was really very sunny. (Even the road looked white.)
And the tourists spent $23 each, sweating on top of a pathetic "sightseeing" bus.
Whereas i only spend below $2 to take a comfortable air-conditioned double-deck bus back home, muahahhahas.

1:20 furniture models on display.

My rhino rendition of the famous heart cone chair.

Black kitten sleeping at some rice sack outside a shophouse at little india. So smart.

Cat auto act cute sia.

Act cute some more zzz. I didn't do anything, other than to stand there.

-

Okie yay done with august post.

Before i put up the august post, i want to add an intervention.
A piece of entertainment. =DDD

Bloody funny. Watch this.

Run, if you are allergic to furry funny stuffs.

I've already seen several of them before this, previously. They are namely the #9 Cat vs Printer, #8 Practice Made Purrrfect (piano), #6 cats choreographing same head movements, #4 Cat Talking, Translation and #3 sleepy kitten.

Not digested yet? Good. Okie recap. =D

-

#10

One thing we laugh about animals, is that they act silly sometimes.
Knowing the treadmill will bring them backwards, they still insisted on running it.

-

#09

I couldn't really comprehend why the cat keeps hitting the printer. (FOR WHAT!???)
Got pwned by a printer with flying papers.

-

#08

Okie, this was even on the local tv news. -____- Super zzz.
It's just random pressing leh, what's the deal... People actually held concerts with live orchestra, complimenting this video. Ridiculous.
(Ha ha i'm neither saying this cat nor the person who filmed it, is ridiculous, but referring to those people who exaggerates it into real-life concerts.)

-

#07

Honestly, (from the left pic) they looked sorta like mirror-images of each other.
My favourite part though, was when one scratched its itchiness away, the other suddenly "punched" it on the head.

-

#06

Actually this one is not really funny, in my opinion.
It can be easily done, like let's say by waving something interesting behind the camera, then the cats' vision will follow (they are naturally-curious/kaypoh, creatures mah).
Probably what's interesting, is the number of cats employed in this video (mm i counted about eight). Quite a big sum.

-

#05

Ha ha nothing much to comment on.
It's just that they resemble homo sapiens hugging each other to sleep.

-

#04

Not that funny without the previous version, whereby some youtuber added in human voices in response to the moving mouths (making them appear to have a conversation, ha ha).

-

#03

Aiyoh sleepy then go sleep! LOLS i seriously don't understand why cats need to do that.
You see... We, homo sapiens, normally doze off because we can't afford to spend the time to lie on a bed and have a proper sleep. We have many commitments. Cats don't need to work to meet deadlines, they don't need to worry if they missed their stops on the public bus, etc.
So, i don't see any excuses for cats dozing off, mmm. No worries, just go sleep bah!

-

#02

I find this section quite cute though. Cus there're playful kittens all over.
The two siblings refuse to let the one in tissuebox rest in peace.
One of them actually looked into the camera while scratching its itch (left image).
Right image shows the sad/annoyed face of the kitten in box.

-

#01

This one like lols, but i don't really understand why.
The tendency of cats smacking themselves on the face is nearly 0%, isn't it?

-

It's not the end yet...

Although it's not a saturday today, it's CATURDAY.
Okie so, there's a bit more to come.
Enjoy mah, even if you don't really like cats or what.

-

Poor chicken, still unaware of what lies ahead.

Yes, that's indeed a zombie... Mr bird is very smart.

...with sealairbus a380.

The life of a gang's boss: not easy acting cool. Especially when your laptop overheats.

He who shows the hand gesture gives approval.
He who has small and slanted eyes looks like an aged evil monster.

De-motivation posters are always good.
Made of plain good stuffs that people seem to come out with, effortlessly.

-

For a non-biased animal-jokes post, here is one previous stuff, you might or might not have read it before.

Yes, this means that there are other creatures, including hotdogs, birdies and even sea monsters (non-exhaustive list).

Here is another previous stuff you can view. Random animals in action.

Don't say i favouritism, only cats okie. (Although i am really biased in that sense. But preference is a subjective matter mah.)

-

And btw forgot to mention in the previous post.
Happy thirty-second month together, lg. =D
Okie passing thirty sounds old, i don't know why.

Nevertheless, yay. =DDD Four more months to our third year. So fast (okie quite slow actually ha ha)...

Yes yes, no posts for very long. I have july and august to catch up with, i know i know.

This is the july post, although it's already september now.
Finally have a bit of free time, after some bloody hectic stressful weeks.

Oh ya, a big joke at the end of the post, i just had to laugh at it so badly.

Shall get the ball rolling...

-

First week of july. As usual, dates are as watermarked on the images.

I like the veggies inside...
(I wished there were more pasta though. And also better if the overall could be less salty.)

The as-usual pretty tampines north (ikea/giant/courts) sunset!

Bought some boxes from ikea. Yay. My crafty stuffs packed inside.

Dug my old stuffs. Can compare leh, LOLS we looked cuter in the past, too bad.
Hahahahs my bro had the "twinkle twinkle little star" on his shirt...

Finally got to return to popeyes for their super-yummy whipped potatoes.
Tried their fried fish (instead of their signature fried chicken, which i thought was so-so), was surprisingly refreshing. Unlike those hard exterior of long john's fried fish, this is very soft on the outside and juicy inside.

IMO, i'm sorry to say that the mcd's cinnamon melts is totally not nice! LOLS.
(Btw there is no grammar error above with the "is" bcus "cinnamon melts" is the name of one single dish, that's what i decided. Lols really what, technically correct though it looks weird.)

It's way too absurd, i thought. I always liked cinnamon buns, but this was disappointing. It felt like some microwaved frozen-tiny-plain-breads, with some white icing and brown cinnamon syrup - pathetic HA HA. Overly sweet too. What i was looking for, was nice and fragrance bread baked with cinnamon (not syrup simply poured over it).
Okie not mcd's fault. My bad okie? For looking at the wrong thing. Since many people claimed it's nice. *skeptically shudders*

For birthday post, refer two posts below/previous (dated 15jul09).

-

Mid-july.

Sly-faced cat on the rock. LOLS WTF.

Bought peaches! And they look like butts on the exterior. -__- (Refer left image.)
Look like apple on the inside though. (Refer right image.)

I've figured out a good way to remove stems from shiitake mushrooms.
Somehow there's a way to twist it, and the stem will come out very clean.

I bought cakes from royals cafe again! Inexpensive and very yummy.
From left, apple crumble and carrot cake.

This is a boliao image of some student cards ha ha.

School changed logos - and we have to change our cards too.
The comparison between old (left) and new (right) logos on the cards.
Honestly, i prefer the old logo. What's with the short forms "NAFA" and "南艺" on the new logo, zzz. I feel that the new one is kinda fugly, i'm sorry.

Paktor, went the cathay to watch movie. Circled in red, was our seat.
The cathay is good, it has darn lots of couple seats leh. More than 20 pairs of them can sit there, walao.
Watched harry potter (half blood prince, 6th book). I have complains on the movie. Mmm.
The movie is misleading, cus people who don't read the books don't understand the plot and the connection between other series.
For me, i have read all the hp books long ago and like the whole story (7 books) a lot, the plot is deep and meaningful, the final book links everything up together.
And i find that, the movie has a number of crucial parts different from the original story leh, wtf.
It also has wrong focus, too much irrelevant scenes that waste time (2+ hours, already too short to contain the whole storyline, they still wanna waste it).

Ha ha sorry for whining.

Dinner yay.

=D

-

Late july.

I love my cat.

The proof-of-no-fever-so-you-can-enter-campus stickers stuck onto the traffic light right in front of campus, during the h1n1 times.

LOLS i bought royals cafe's cakes again, again.
Cranberry brownie (left) and walnut brownie (right) this time round, takeaways.

Heated up the brownie and topped it with some cheap vanilla ice cream bought during bday. Heavenly, muahahahs.

Malay weddings at void decks are really very nicely decorated nowadays.
This was at my void deck, back view. Sibei nice.

First day of class after the holidays. Saw these fast food names on the table.

Saw this text too. Too blurred, hence i captioned it so you can see.
I highly suspect this is referring to veron. *cough cough*

Some random thing on the wall.

School changed new computers for us.
But felt so stupid, cus we can't find the button to switch on the computer, with attempts to press the cpu EVERYWHERE. Hahahahs wtf there isn't any real button leh.
It turns out that the "on" button is the one, as circled in red.

This is boliao-ism: a supposedly pokka bottle shape.

Ate haagan dazs with old pal, since i have a 25% discount voucher from my bday feast.
I can't remember the names of the flavours. They didn't leave long impressions i guess, other than being severely overpriced.
All i remembered was the almond flakes, really unique, damn it... Thin and crispy, so far the best ones i've ever eaten. Not exaggerating though.

Here comes the big joke. MUAHAAHS.

There was this brochure thing introducing haagan dazs' new apricot ice cream flavour on the table, as shown below.
(Apologies for the random hair strands at the top left corner.)

It has a fashion illustration by a NAFA fashion student.
(I don't care that she's in the same institution as me, but we're from totally different departments/campuses anyway.)

I am one who never appreciates the need of having education for fashion.

So we went on to criticise how the dress is not exactly nice and the shoes don't match the dress, stuffs like that, talking from a non-fashion-orientated peeps' point-of-view.

Suddenly, i began to spot some very weird stuffs.

We discussed how the fingers look weird somehow. Never mind about this, this is minor.

OH WTF this is major. Still can't spot it? Look at the toes.

That big toe of her right leg (left of image) is placed wrongly... It should be inside, not outside. Refer to your right leg's toes.
Walao eh fatal mistake leh, sibei xiasuay leh, nobody actually noticed this when they allow this to be mass published???

-

Okie august up next, of course.

Oh jialat i'm sleepy already (despite enjoying a more-than-12-hours of sleep last night).

I think i need to find some way to overcome my chronic sleepiness.

Yes yes i've prepared the images, but not yet posted.

The fast food double-syndrome is back again! This time it's back on a smaller scale, with only one of their burgers on focus.

Yes, it's between the same old mcdonald's and burgerking again.

Remember my previous post in nov'08 on "double-deck bus syndrome"?

It's aka what's with the huge and overpriced burgers promoted at the same time by two different companies?

Here's the take:

Mcdonald's double filet-o-fish.

Burgerking's double whopper jr.

What a game, similar promotions running currently.

I don't believe in pure coincidence for the second time, do you?
It's reasonable enough to conclude the possibility of one copying the other. Just that i can't decide who copied who.

-

Anyway, have you seen the osim advertisement? The massage chair with that cat and dog. LOLS "meow~" no, not helping them advertise here obviously.

I just want to say that i like the animals there... Hhaahahs. Funny.

It's a small maltese with a bigger american shorthair.

American shorthair~ Must be bloody expensive? Cus all american shorthairs are pedigreed cats, btw.
But seems like it's not a real-expensive breed in the usa (since it's not really unique in terms of characteristics), unlike the longhaired ragamuffin and the super-rare egyptian mau. However, it wouldn't be cheap to get one in singapore, anyway.

Images' source. Actually the stocky american shorthair looks kind of good. I like the thick fur (it's low maintenance though) and that patch of "white scarf" at the neck area~

Okie so this is the adv you can recap.

It has a weird visual effect.
Cus normally people pair a big dog with a smaller cat.
This has a small dog with a bigger cat. -_-

-

Btw i have ailurophilia.

But i do not like all sorts of felines or all breeds of cats.
For instance, i find two particular breeds extremely disturbing.

Seriously, they freak me out.

Bengal: The leopard look-alike (due to cross-breeding) is the most expensive cat in the world. Can't help feeling that it'll chew raw meat in huge chunks, although i know that they require no special diet at all. -_- Just like normal cat, but looks too fierce leh. It is a large breed, probably due to it's genes.
Sphinx: Hairless. Sorry it's really weird and freaky in my opinion, what more can i say?

What breeds i find interesting?

Scottish fold (lg's favourite~): It has this comical fat-face and eyes-too-round, which initially i thought some idiot went to photoshop all the images at the wiki page. -___- Main characteristic also includes the folded-ears.

Sorry, they are borned to look funny. LOLS.

Munchkin: The ultimate short-legs.

Click on image to watch video, but i'm sure many have watched this before.

Lastly, bombay: Very affectionate blacks.

Image's source.

Me likes affection black cats. =D
Mainly because i ever interacted with two particular black cats in the past.

-

Okie that's all. Good night - it's late, or early.

Foodilicious nineteen.

Didn't have celebrations on the day itself. Actually no celebrations at all lar, but little nice outings which i've enjoyed. =)

-

04jul09. Bishan, to go spca later.

Looks really good.

Tomato-flavoured rice. =D

No, he was not opening some ketchup or chilli sauce sachet. LOLS just freezing and holding onto utensils in a weird way, waiting for me to be done with photo-takings.
I intended for candid shots, and it's not that candid now lols.

Circle line!

Okie, still excited even though i've already known that the train's interior is very similar to north-east purple line (cus they are produced from the same manufacturer), it's just that the circle-line train has only three carriages instead of the normal six.

To bartley station from bishan was kind of fast.

Went spca! But ironically, i did not take any pictures there. LOLS weird, you might think.

Generally there, it's a hostel for lazy sleeping cats and noisy barking dogs, and also bochap/emotionless-looking bunnies. Hahahahhahs...

Bartley road.

My birthday walnut brownies. =D Happy happy.
Tasted well, albeit slightly overcooked.
(Image is original, not photoshopped or what, although the white background looks kind of artificial. Taken with outdoor lighting and phone flash.)

Looking at the blanga who had a shirt over his head?

Went work. And decided to get some toppings (for my brownies) before heading home. It was already rather late. Really hard to buy stuffs at that kind of time.

Cats lazing when it was nearly midnight.

LOLS there were two mini chocolate swiss rolls waiting for me at home. Though i've made my stand to ma for the n-th time that i do not like swiss rolls at all.
Anyway i may be picky, but never fussy (gonna be my personal quote very soon yay). So i will still eat things that i may not like. Lols i try to reduce wastage most of the time.

Like since most neighbourhood shops were closing, the first place i went was 7-11.
There wasn't any small ice cream tubs other than the milo, so i bought it since it taste good enough on its own even if i don't use it for topping the brownie.

After that i went to try luck at a half-closed minimart, which had a really cheap ice cream of unknown brand, but wth it's only $1.60 man zzz. Image below.
And btw the cheapo ice cream tasted just like wall's.

Picture appears to be foggy cus it's taken in the freezer~ Lols.

Here's what i did.

Start of with a slice of brownie.
(The first time i ate a triangle brownie cus it's normally of rectilinear forms. But triangle ones look more special wor. =D)

Then, add the vanilla ice cream.
Couldn't find my ice cream scoop somehow, so bobian used a plastic soup ladle, hence the shape isn't so nice but that doesn't matter lar lols.

Added some gummy bears on top for fanciful purposes.
It was hard to take this shot because the bears keep sliding down. -_- And the ice cream was melting soon.

Another view of done topped brownie.

Actually it's not a good idea to put gummy bears. The coldness will make the bears harden and not chewy.

Boliao playing with the coloured bears.

Revising my loots of the day.

Lg's donation for spca, which i got to choose a keychain to keep. And a very cute mos burger miniature from a capsule machine LOLS. The burger was so overpriced that the both things above cost the same zzz.

The back view of the keychain and card accompanied with it.

And btw, no. I've always disliked spca for some reasons since two years ago. I do not agree with the way they handle things and probably their policies.
HOWEVER, i do not condemn the animals in spca, since the animals are obviously innocent. Ha ha.

05jul09.

I am so glad that flobby is officially two years old! YAY.

Bro treated pizzahut delivery for lunch. (Lols like somehow, every year i get pizzahut delivery for bday zzzzz.)
Anyway, ocean catch is nice with scrumptious sotong rings, shrimps and tuna, plus the yummy lime-mayo base~

08jul09, museum-outings with old pal yay.

Nice architectural feature (corinthian capital) in the sing-art-museum.

The love tank exhibit at the foyer of nat-museum.

Museum stickers lols.

Anyway, i find singapre art museum (sam) unimpressive and uninspiring, as compared to national museum of singapore (nms). Although the lose-out in terms of architecture is not their fault (nat-museum really has the wow-factor in terms of architecture), the exhibits in the sing-art galleries is kind of disappointing. Mmm...

Always wanted to try the mini crab snacks, but never did. However, it appeared as one of the gifts yay. I've always wondered how would it taste - and does it break the teeth to eat it? LOLS.

And especially my zodiac is crab (cancer), somehow it's weird that i like crabs (includes both drawing and eating crab).

Cartoon crabs are sadden by the fact that humans eat them.
BTW, this illustration is incorrect. As in, it depicts crabs with 6 normal legs and 2 claws.
The truth is that, crabs have 8 normal legs and 2 claws; this is a very common confusion.

I've heard before something like: you can tell the gender from the abdomen, it's a male if it's sharp, and a female if it's rounded.
I found two kinds of tummy in the packet of crabs.
Initially, i thought one must be the male, one must be the female.

However, after checking some info from here/here/here, i might be wrong. The sharper abdomen could possibly be a immatured female crab, since a male abdomen should be much more narrower like a bunsen burner (lols).

Wa, so the whole packet might be made of all female crabs (matured and immatured ones).

Btw forgot to mention how the mini crabs tasted like.

Eh, it's very very very similar to the m'sia ikan satay, in terms of taste and texture.

12jul09, exactly one week belated.

A bday treat at haagan dazs by colleague. A decent friend who can talk a lot with.

Funny sia. He was telling the staff that it was my birthday today, and hinting if we can get something special like extra ice cream or what.

Partially lying, mmm. Ya this was meant for my birthday, but my bday was already over for seven days, LOLS.

Anyway we didn't get extra ice cream. We got a surprise wafer fan biscuit, with "happy birthday" written in chocolate syrup, like lols sia.
But anyway it was on the wrong dish, but the "happy bday" text is facing me still~ Lols.

He got the chocoholic, while i had the berry cool (a very zzz name).
LOLS cus only took picture when we had eaten one-quarter, the wafer was already gone into the stomach (gave the "happy" to him, while i took the "birthday" ha).
So i used the power of graphic editting LOLS, to show how it was supposed to look like. It was on the whipped cream.

Lols due to occupational habit 职业病, the whipped cream looks very much like used tissue blob!

So this is how it is supposed to look like:

Internet images taken from here and here.

I would say haagen dazs is severly overpriced. -_- Ben&jerry's at least seems more reasonable.

That's why i said it was a foodilicious nineteen. Lots of things to eat. Lols!

Btw happy thirtieth month today, lg!

I can no longer put music here due to restriction for countries outside USA/Europe to use. Hence, the videos are there. It somehow works the same, other than having longer loading time.
