This is really funny lar. Can't resist to use the s word on her. Got people so stupid one meh? Even a three-year-old toddler could answer the question correctly, i presumed.
Must be very xia suay lo. The audience must have laughed until
peng (collapse).
Conclusion #01: She sees the moon from earth's point of view (basically smaller than size of a mooncake).
Conclusion #02: She worships the thai culture, and hence thought that elephants (sacred) are the

maybe she might have seen a humongous peanut somewhere, i can't comment on that cus singapore is so small and i'm like a frog in the well. Technology is also always advancing, which makes genetic modifications absolutely not impossible. And, i said MAYBE.)

Chapter #02 * Hopes and DreamsDefinition: Gratifying or beautiful aspirations. (noun)
It seems like everybody have their hopes and dreams.
Some wanna be the CEO, maybe some wants fame on the stage. Different people have different wishes.
Lols it's a bit sad when come to think about myself, i don't seem to have any aspirations. That's probably why i still don't know which course i wanna take next year. Maybe i think too much. Perhaps.
I envy people who really try to head to wherever they aspired.
Let's say jarrold. (Ha i rmb sitting next to him during geog/ss.) In his sec sch days, he was always seen drawing animes or designing fonts. Sketching, sketching and sketching. Until sometimes mr fong see liao buay song. (LOLS.) Then as everyone has expected, he indeed went to a design course in tp. (My comment: since he has the passion and talent, why not. =D)
Even peiting my junior applied to the
DPA intake (even though failed to get accepted) in the apparel design and merchandising course in tp. But honestly i admire her effort to pursue her dreams. 佩服。
At least they know what they want for their future. I have like nuts for myself.
Even zhili said last time,
"I thought you were very keen on going to a design course." Lols and *surprise surprise* my first choice on the JAE wasn't any design course at all.
"So why you chose this?" Umm good question. Well, apparently there isn't any
sch of design in ngeeann, and i thought this course would be the closest (after i looked at the modules list) to a design course. Ahahs, and i'm wrong.
Which is why now i'm scared to decide which course to take next year. Cus even if i go around the polytechnics' websites looking at their course modules, i'm still
not convinced about choosing the courses.
Because words can lie. (Okie LIE is a word too strong.) I shall rephrase this.
Because words can be misleading. They can have a nice chunk of essay, telling you the wonderful job scope of this course, like opportunities to work in raffles city hotel etc and is greatly in demand due to the flourishing tourism. But the fact is you check for water leaks, aircon system, and things like that. Pretty sad, isn't it? Yes, i finally gotta admit that i'm
scared. I hate to admit my weaknesses. I don't like to appear weak and pathetic.
And i think that's why people (esp younger ones) have told me that
i'm a cheerful and optimistic person. (Bwahahahs.) Ironically, i'm the opposite. Somehow apparently, if you've got enough power to see thru me.
I am no optimist. Or, i am a fake optimist. HA!
(I didn't fake it on purpose you know, it's just the side effect of me trying to appear strong.)
Okie well i think i steered way off the topic.
Once i asked jarrold,
"Is your course competitive?" He said,
"Quite. But i'm good. Ha ha." Really -_- sia. Doesn't sound comforting at all. I'm not good. Not good at all. I can't draw, damn. And i know ALL design-relevant courses have to draw, even for digital animation or moving images.
Honestly, (i know i keep saying this) if i had a choice, i wouldn't want to continue my studies after sec sch. But obviously singaporeans don't have a choice. No basic diploma, who's gonna hire you? With an O level cert, no matter you've got all A1s or flunked till F9s, one only can work like waitress or cashier that kind. Well, i guess nobody wants such job positions forever. The reason is simple. How am i gonna support my kids next time? Where are they gonna live, roadside? How am i going to feed my children, white bread for every meal? I don't think i'm materialistic. I don't expect living in condos, driving big car, becoming a successful career woman and stuffs like that. All i want is just a stable income to support the family. (Hahs i'm guessing i think too far, and too family-minded. All i care and want for my future is a nice family with good husband and children? Lols sia.) And no, i won't become a yellow-faced-aunty (aka 黄脸婆). Cus i think the wife should help her man generate income as well. It's fair i find, or else simply let the guy alone stress over the bills and household expenses meh? Financially very strain de wor. I daresay that i am one whom have kinda low expectations in life.I'd like repeat this over and over again. Cus people around me have told me that they're tempted to change/switch/quit.
01) Don't change just because of influence.(Influence as in, you see somebody quit, then you also feel like quiting too.)
02) Don't change just because of people you dislike.(It won't do you any good, you see.)
Failure to abide by these two rules-of-thumb above, might result in regretting what you've done (change/switch/quit). And that will be too late le.Lols scary huh? I used bigger and bigger font size to emphasize the important points. (Got too carried away.) Bwahahahs.
Quite thankful. Mmm i also don't know what to say. "Friends will always be friends what. Not in np cannot be friend meh." Hey. I am touched. No kidding. ='( Very touched lo. Hahs really glad you people think this way. I'm still extra, somehow. It's a fact. HAH

Guessed i know why already, i am in no mood to go look for job yet. Weird enough. (I rmb i used to be very determined to get a job after Os before xmas'06, and ahahs i did get a job.) Cus i haven't decided where to go next year, so i didn't feel like moving on. Time obviously won't wait for me, but hey
it's a kind of mentality, you see. Not panicking or what. Cus the jobs i'm interested in, they're those that most people will not be interested. I gotta admit i've got a weird taste,
i don't go for the norm.
(So am i an abnorm? Is it something to be happy or sad about, oh dear.) When i was younger, i told myself after Os that, i'd like to try working in a cafe OR in a post office sorting out the letters according to interestingly-different addresses. I've kinda fulfilled the first one. So, heh heh heh. Maybe i shall fulfil the second one this time round, since i can work full time. Maybe maybe.
I don't have big dreams. But i do have those little whimsy dreams. I guess that's enough to overwhelm me for the time being. I'm actually easily satisfied (though i may seem picky). Got deardear enough le. Damn, sorry i know i'm very emotionally dependent on you. But i've improved throughout these months. Not too sure if you've realised. But i did realised one thing. =DD

Hungry though dinner eat at burgerking le. (But i'm not a glutton, just due to the fact that i seem to be having one meal per day.)

*back from hiatus* Yay eat and wash finish le. Wah going 4am soon le.
Talking about instant noodles, hahs my taste buds like them in these order:
- Nissin CQYD 出前一丁
- Myojo
- Maggi
Cus both cqyd and myojo the noodles turn translucent when cooked. This property, meaning that the resulting mee is springy and light. Conclusion: YUMMY. On the other hand, maggi's noodles turn opaque and starchy after boiling in water. This makes it kinda 腻 lo.
But still, maggi is the mother of all instant mee (locally). Wahahahhas.
Ya came back from swim and a hair-cut. But still look the same lo, just that everything shorter, plus face redder.

A lot of pple must be thinking, "What?! You still havent got an idea of where you wanna go next year?" Well, lols. A lot of choices actually.
Polytechnics.
Ngee ann (clementi) - Well. I know there most well. Obvious i had to, lols. One hour plus of per travelling trip, and i didnt really complaint till now yet. (Hahs sometimes i do jokingly grumble a bit.) I was telling my mum, "Dont worry. If you dont want me waste this laptop, i can always go back to np and study some course over there next year." And yah thinking of this lappy, it has been accompanying me for like umm 5 mths? Hahs. I was digging some old stuffs in the room. Then saw some atm withdrawal receipts. Like huh march was $600+ then three days later is less than 100 bucks??? How come i spent hundreds in just three days? Yeah, i did had shopping sprees in those days, since i got my pay. But it's like at most 100+ bucks in one day, and wont be consecutively three days. A bit of shocking to me. Then afterthat i understood that the hundreds went to be paid for part of the acer lappy. I did pay quite a portion. Lols and i thought my mum paid for almost everything. And afterthat my account was damn broke, really v broke. Okies talk back to the main topic. If ngeeann, seems like i'm only keen on the psychology n social services course. Cus i've always been complaining why isnt there a school of design in np. Like grrr. But think that course too hard to get in lar. 9 pts. Like damn shit i got 10. LOLS and next yr might even reduce the COP. Then i rmb miss ho told me she know of someone studying in that field, and needs to handle a lot of statistics de, then she gave me the i-dont-think-u'd-enjoy-statistics face. HEY i love statistics man, great news to you and to me. Hahs. And i know bibi going there for IT next yr.
Republic (woodlands) - I sometimes wonder is rp or np nearer to my house. I suspected that it's faster to travel to rp than np u know. Hahs, and if that is the case, this makes ngee ann the furthest polytechic from bedok reservoir, and well i actually schooled there. It sounded a bit of a joke. But distance is a prob, but not the big prob lar. But in anyway, rp is totally out of my choices. LOLS. No offence to this institution. Many pple told me this fact, then i know de hahs, "Did u know republic poly their diploma is actually not recognised?" Oh wow. Sry sry not like looking down or what.
Singapore (dover) - No way i'm going there. Cus if i go sp, they'll down-grade my lappy to windows XP. Somemore is configured version, like special sp's XP. Hahs eww sia. So, NOOOOOOO. Sry not over-reacting. But i just can't stand the thought of vista becoming xp. Omg omg omg, what shit. NAHHH NOO WAYYYYYY. I love vista man. (Okie sometimes vista do make me vomit blood. Programs incompetible occasionally, and it doesnt seem to cooperate well with internet explorer u know. Like sometimes suddenly close all my browsing tabs. Wah lao ehhhh. You could have called me used mozilla firefox since it's already installed when i purchase the notebk, but then i'm more used to IE lar. Hahs i support microsoft rather than macintosh-apple, though i like to use apple's quicktime.)
Nanyang (ang mo kio) - Kinda figured out that nyp could just take 22 to amk (since i go amk so frequently) then change bus. Not much comments about there. But i'm having a lil interest in their space n interior design over there. But also, i've read that nyp is introducing the all-students-should-own-a-laptop next yr. And they also dont welcome window vista, like sp. (Grrr lols.)
Temasek (tampines) - Obvious the nearest of the nearest choice. Hahs i rmb my bro liked to say, "take bus 5 mins can reach sch already!" Lols sia. But not much reasons other than that, that i should go there. I heard their sch of design rather stress. Umm.
JCs. Umm srjc (i dont seem to like)? Innova (need to consider the travel time)? And just a lil handful of these i might be able to make it for their COP. But JC i scared die inside cus buay tahan cannot cope. Hahhs.
But honestly, coming out from a science class, i know that taking science courses in poly will be obviously a v smooth n easy ride (but sci diplomas wash test-tube leh, mdm haliza says, lols), and the worst will be accountings and fiancial stuffs (as i personally know of at least 4 pple took triple-sci in sec sch is horrible at accs).

Hahs yay nice song =)), then suddenly stops and change to the intro music of majulah singapura. -__________-!!! Okie this is not the first time i've experience this le. But still. *
Taking long journey buses are totally no feat to me. Kinda proud to say that. Already used to sit alone in buses, for like an hour plus. 习惯了啦。Hahs. Seeing that my previous institution is located at the opposite side of the island (near jurong OMG!) and bibi who lives dunno-how-many miles away (21 mrt stops from bedok XD), yup bibi will agree with me that buses are more comfortable than trains. Since u dont have to sit face-to-face with other passengers and see many different pple coming in and going out thru the "door closing, beep beep beep beep". 也辛苦你了喔，送我回家的路因该不好受吧。
A lot of time i try to 讲求男女平等, cus i think both males and females are all humans. No law on this earth states that the guy MUST send the girl back home (听到了吗？), but that would be nice lar. =DD Hahs. Actually i'm not too sure whether going there alone or going back home alone would feel better. But maybe someday i'd like to try the vice-versa u know. Like u come my area, then i send u back home. Kekeke. Sounds fun enough.

Yay yay yay. Finally got the photo for darrylchiang's bday le. =DDDDD
23aug07. I looked fugly, but nvm. Hahs.
Like 10 out of 12 are jc peeps. Should be counted 9, cus kailun withdraw le mah. Umm i love statistics. 1 nyjc, 2 tpjc, 6 srjc, 1 sp and 2 withdrawn freaks. Tp de all nv come (like almost 50% of the class in tp) cus having exams the next day.
The two non-jc peeps got a timbaland cd for the bday boy.
Then all supposed to meet at mac near bnss (which is near my hse also lar, hahs) at 5pm, i rmbed. Me was like thinking, "Huh bday at mac? Hahs like you know children hold bday party at mac de. Lols." But then i think too much le. XD Just meet at mac nv say celebrate at mac mah. Then some pple at mac liao, waiting for the other side to get ready. The other side venue at the block opposite mac. They just preparing the cake to arrive. Then when they done liao call us go over. The other side got germaine, tanooja and wes at the void deck there.
Then that day there was this cat lazing on the floor. Jodi (well-known cat lover) went to play with the cat. Then she said that the cat is pregnant. Then the guys said she's cat pro or something like that can't rmb. Hahs then she said no lar cus it's just that the nipples are popping out. Lols chey. Then all laughed. Ya did noticed that the tummy a bit big. Then the auntie who always feed stray cats tell us dunno why the cat won't response to her. Hahs, probably cus pregnant animals are v temperament (like human mothers do!) bah.
Then somebody mentioned, "Can call spca." Then kailun said something which made me n li knod head in agreement. "Who knows what spca will do to it?" Better not call them, think will kenna 一失两命, sry should be 一失好几个命. Cats will give birth to at least three offsprings at one go de. Cus it's a fact that spca has a space too small to accomodate most animals brought in, you see.

healthy good-breed dog was sent in, then very high chance they would've kept the dog for
adoption.
If a
normal healthy cat was sent in, then very high chance it'd be
put to slp. (Just heard of one case, sry for you and the cat.)
If a
sick stray (bird or cat) was sent in, then very high chance it'd be
put to slp.
Well, that was just my point of view. May not be factual.
What is this damn. Call the hotline involving cases like "
injured, very sick or very young animals or involving animal cruelty".
Injured? I was thinking will this organisation save? I don't know. Maybe depends on how badly injured i guess. If too serious until can't save, umm...?
Very sick. Oh well. I think (think only) not likely will help. Cus human's medical knowledge of animals is much much lower of human. Many sicknesses may be beyond their research. So no medicine, no nothing, for the not-so-common sickness. So resulting? What else.
Very young. Okie attempted this before. Nothing much in fact. They'll just give you two options: the
founder's keeper (they'll just tell you some basic care tips and say that the animal may not survive) or
send to spca (who knows what will happen to the animal; but well, i can guess).
Involving animal cruelty? Hahs they like to sue animal abusers to court it seems. Ha ha ha, no comments.
So called, they have to
euthanise animals since the space in shelter is limited. I'm not requesting that they put up all the animals received. But isn't it possible like, when they receive a sick stray, try to treat it and then place it back to the public? And i thought that's what the funds are for?
Umm.
Everything they do, they like to insist that their actions are "
humane". Lols no comments again. Yes, it's like everything.
Fact: More than 80% of animals sent in are put to slp. (Like wow so high chance.)

Didn't really understand this article. The $6000 is sponsored by the two pple, or spca sonsoring $1000 and the other $5000 is from the two pple, or whatever it is?
Umm. If any is the case, why not make use of the total $6000 available for the spca expenses, insteading for trying to get witnesses?
$6000 isn't a small sum you know. (Siao arh. Hahs.) Is it trying to make believe that singaporeans are so bochap pple who wouldn't stand up for animal abuse, and would gladly help only when there's monetary rewards? Honestly, i believe that if some were to have info or have witnessed the crime (animal abuse) would have already reported. Like lols sounds as if singaporeans are motivated by money. Greediness?
Anyway, if really need to reward, i feel that the amount should be lowered (like $50), not exceeding $200 in my opinion. Like mentioned earlier in this -verylong&loso- paragraph,
the money should be used for their operation funds. I still find this $1000 reward is too handsome and too *LOLS* lo.
Spca urges the public to say NO to these practices. (A must-read!!! XD)Umm. Kaypoh arh they lols. Some had made me laugh a bit. Why funny? Cus just imagine spca actually wrote to organisations like the underwater world (dolphin lagoon) and night safari. Also, nosed into issues like laboratory animals for experiment in singapore, use of water bottles for dogs (eh, saw this in eastpoint-simei de pet safari), pets as presents, sharks as pets, sharkfin soup and using animals (rabbits, birds, snakes) for fashion parades. Darn funny.
