A lengthy and sort-of long-winded october post, you've been warned.October post was delayed due to my dear computer entering coma, and thankfully acer hospital revived it. Okie wrong word to use, cannot be "revived" since it's not dead yet. It had a major organ transplant though, more like some heart or brain operation. Replaced the faulty motherboard. -_- Content mainly revolving around furniture design studio progresses and some food. Also consists of sentosa reconnaissance (better known as recee) trips in preparation of planning gb camp, moving house and extremes (including a very huge mushroom slice in soup, a bigger-than-typical housefly, a huge fire alarm - the size of my face, an ultra-awful macaron and some illegible chinese character). Surprisingly, cat-images are kept to the bare minimal, really. No worries. Here it goes. (There're over a hundred images if i'm not wrong.) You could call it a busy month, literally.  The totally-fabulous chicken tendergrill mushroom swiss burger was back (like once every year or so)! Supposedly very tender, juicy and yummy.  This time round, the burger wasn't as yummy as the previous times, to be honest. It's below expectation, yup. And i received a crooked/slanted burger LOLS that's very much like mcd's trademark leh, with mcd's lettuce anyhow scattered in the box/wrapper.  Cute graffiti outside burgerking.  Me likes miniatures. (Sorry for the twit grammar, lols. I kinda despise people using apparent poor grammar, but ironically i like to use "me *singular verb*" instead of "i *plural verb*" although i know this is stupidly/childishly wrong ha ha.)  Some study models of chair covering - furniture design studio. The hexagon one is obviously an ideal choice (a bit like honeycomb) but it was impossible to fold an acceptable one due to the material's thickness.  Korean spicy sotong on hotplate. Yayyay got kimchi.  Anyway the sotong came, looking almost similar to their plastic display set (no images taken). And the texture is kinda too rubbery. -_- A bit hard to swallow LOLS, need to chew very long.  It has been a long time i haven't taken pics of flobby, the huge huggable smiley tofu.  Yummy sambal sotong with rice and egg. $5 for the big serving and free soup. It's the same stall as the salad prawn in the previous post. Lols but the sotong they gave kinda too much sia (i'm one who will finish up all the food even if i'm full).  Erm. An extra huge slice of mushroom in my soup of ramen. I was imagining the actual size of the whole mushroom before slicing. It's quite rare for this sight, cus i often eat the ramen there, and have never seen them using mushroom of such size before.   Furniure's progress. - Second section.  Miniature collectibles~!  Tiny bento sets.  Chocolate fondant with vanilla ice cream and a mug of hot chocolate with marshmellows!   The sylvanian families. =DDD You might be bankrupt by the time you collect all their series. But so bloody cuteee (not the squirels/bunnies but the houses, furnishings and items). It's the same obssession like lg's $100+ gundam kit, zzz. A typical sylvanian mansion costs $100+ too, zzz. Crazily-priced toys.  Lee cooper now has so much more shoes than one year ago. I have the red shoe as highlighted. A while ago, there were only two designs (mine and the normal sneakers) then. Thought the boat shoes (as highlighted at the bottom four) were cute, but tried already and didn't purchase cus i found them uncomfortable at the ankle.  A very smart cat found a comfy bed at the eunos wet market.  Standing at the front door, staring at the bus uncle. A big sigh to squeezing bus back again.  This is the last picture you'll see of meow looking still rather alright, despite having a slightly messy eyebrown. The next image of meow is zzz already.  Lols we say yan ni look like aunty with her plastic bag gloves.  Potato flesh yay. Mos burger. I said, "There's a big fly behind you." LOLS i expected her to think i'm exaggerating, which she did too.   It's not that huge. But much bigger than the common ones we see, can't really tell from the photographs taken though. Zzz.  Nothing-much-to-comment 1.  Nothing-much-to-comment 2, lols.  Boliao-ism in s'pore art scene class. Three specs with formations.  Fire alarm bigger than my face. (So big for what???)  Tom's palette again. Left, jasmine's. Right, mine. I like my chosen flavours. Very nice. Luo-han-guo is a chinese ball-like fruit my granny used to brew soup with, sweet sweet de. And we both like the white forest very much that we returned another time to have the white forest (yup anyway you will see another of it soon again in this post). - Third section.  Neighbour-class doing their metal works for chair.  Checking out pipes as material.  Uncle showing us the various types of joint available.  Passed by a prawn/oyster fried dough shop. Ha ha seafood is always shiok shiok.  Saw this nice laptop case in designer magazine. =D  There, again ice cream from tom's palette. Lols white forest. Left, mine. Right, jasmine's.  This little "potato q" thing actually not bad. Crispy on the outside, soft and buttery on the inside. And it's very hot too. -_- Hot as in temperature, not spiciness.  A fuse-beads stuff i did some time back zz. Flobby's/Tofu's tic tac toe trademark, lolsss.  I spotted a sad face on my ntuc receipt, maybe it was upset that i didn't spend more. ): I shall show you my fabulous 3-course meal (with drink) at midnight after work.  Ready? Alright. The starter, whee~  Soup of the day (cream of broccoli), bought from workplace. The main course coming up next. Drums roll...  Microwavable pizza, from cheers. (Lols notice how the actual pizza looks so different from the graphics on the packaging.) It's dessert time.  Chilled red dates with white fungus, from my usual hawker stall. =D And as for the drink...  The supper is accompanied by mocca frezzy from cheers, yay. And to be very honest, this is totally candid. It's not pre-planned. I just happened to buy whatever i feel like having, especially when choices are very limited during the late night. LOLS. -___-  Aright. A erm sleeping cat?  Buying the 5.8m pipe. Staff measuring for us.  Cutting.  Bundling with masking tape.  Back to class.  Penning down empty thoughts. Yes, empty. -_-  See the mess in the classroom.  Next-door 1.  Next-door 2. Next class generally all using metal and papier-mache cus the lecturer wanted it that way.  Meiqi clearing out her locker.  And is able to hide inside, lolsss.  A shot before the all her cute cardboard props are being disposed.  I was on the same bus as terence tan. -_________- Singapore art scene: design and media, lecturer. Okie zzz this is not the first time i've taken the same bus with an elective lecturer. - Forth section. First recee at sentosa for planning of gb camp. Aiming to visit some free sites generally, no specific fixed direction yet.  The roller coaster at resorts world universal studio is almost up! Was excited but the ticket costs about $60, so can forget it liao zzz overpriced walao.  We were amused by the "please do not JUMP OFF the moving tram". Like wth lols? HAHAHA anyway realised that we can be seen inside the mirror. Hence...  Boliao zoom in.  The free animal show. The monkey that kept showing its pink butt intentionally when we were asked to wave.  The hawk that kept flying above our heads (and the audience keep siam-ing lols).  The parrot that counts. And the lucky angmoh boy who got called up to feed the parrot.  This dog did not exactly perform any act. It just so-called sniffed out which box contained the snake. But is my favourite of all though. -.- I like golden big dogs, such as golden retriever. But this is more likely to be a golden labrador due to the short fur. I'm not very into dog breeds, so that's just a guess.  Angmoh lady volunteered to carry the big snake.  Ending.  And we got to touch the snake as well. Quite smooth and dry yup, feels like our nails as what the presenters described.  Sitting at the pavilion at ulu tanjong beach for a snack. So much nicer than east coast of course.  And... We noticed a lot of wedding couples and photographers taking wedding photographs. -.- Really too many, you see those white gowns in the pic. "The most tranquil beach" as dubbed by sentosa website, is flooded with couples in wedding suits, LOLS.  Sun was setting, hence...  The couples and photographers hurried to get a good spot to take some good sunset photographs. LOLS singapore has limited spots with nice scenary, too baddd. Everybody takes photographs at the same place. -_-  The sunset caused the clouds to appear reddish, and guess what? Did you see something there?  It's a face. Reminds me of the pringles old man logo.  Image from google-ing. Upon comparing, not really looking alike. Mmm. Okie continue.  Tram. Seriously, excluding the staff, out of ten people you see in sentosa, more than nine are tourists. The tourists are mostly caucasian, indian and chinese.  Toilet. We were thinking of a station whereby campers need to pile sand till their knee's height before they can proceed. Is it possible/practical to pile sand till knee's height? We tried. Actually very hard and time consuming. So... No.  Zhili's castle walls with "windows".  My weird smiley face.  Okie, the merlion looks scary with that violet body and white eyes. Don't you think so too? LOLS. - Fifth section.  The screens at jurongeast station are still incomplete (even until december, i went there recently), walao it has been months. Pasir ris' screens are long fully functional already.  Ultra horrible macarons from cold storage. -_- I ate their cakes before, were not that bad. But the macarons really cannot-make-it lar. Horrible. NAFA campus does have nightlife.  Takeaways. Camping outside the workshop.  Jasmine and meiqi having dinner.  Even domokun is hungry.  Neighbour class doing their job till late night.  Malay weddings always use nice draperies. =)  Moving soon. I don't have many shoes. This is already about 70% of my shoes. The other 30% is more dressy which i hardly wear anyway. Busy people busy with their furniture pieces. (Rhetorical repetition of language lols zzz, okie then i rephrase it lo.) The busy people were preoccupied with/absorbed in their furniture pieces.  =D  Meiqi's sit-able wolf taking shape.  A bumper car?  It's weird to see a front balcony protruding out in little india. Shouldn't the balcony be at the back? It's one of the rare ones that's in front though.  Zzzzz become la bi xiao xin after an accident of thread being tugged. Walao. Lg told me to remove the whole eyebrows (cus he said it looks weird to have eyebrows in the first place). Feasible, but until now still haven't remove yet. LOLS.  Do you notice anything wrong? No, it's not the reflection of the graphic or whatsoever. The text, the text~!!! Wtf with "bite-sized bites"? It's technically not wrong. But to me, it's just plain wrong. It's not even a case of tautology (aka redundant language - different words of the same meaning used together). It's a redundant phrase made up of words of literally the same spelling/meaning, rendering the phrase meaningless. -__________-  Anyway, LOLS mcd's monopoly.  Dropped by jln besar's beancurd city, after purchasing more pipes and joints.  I find welding scary.  The sparks produced is actually way much more - not seen in photographs.  Submarine?  Base up.  Backrest up, soon.  Campsite zzz.  Pre-assessment goodie bag. All food items, except for the colourful flower-shaped highlighter.  Nobody can decipher the chinese character(s) on the logo. -_- And no, it's not "好吃" like what jianhao claimed, he merely guessed from the word "Delicious" wth~ LOLS!  New place. Before moving.  So freaky. I used this pic for my ppt for a presentation. LOLS he looks uncannily like somebody super close to me. Wahhahahahas wtf. Even lg agrees. -_-  Workplace's poster, lols. Mad cat. - Ahh gotta sleep already. Do too much. Headache. Still got november post zzzzz. But there will be lg pics. =DDD It's almost 10am already wth. These few weeks should be busy with schwork, brochure/flyer design for gb orientation, gingerbread man baking and zhili's birthday presents - traditionally in the format of goodie bag LOLS (which is just ten or eleven days after xmas, double-present it means hahahas). Can't wait to watch alvin and the chipmunks 2~ From the trailers, it looks so much better than the first one in 2007. I like the chipettes, they dance better than beyonce and sing better than katy perry, omg LOLSSS! Bloody cute. But it will only be out on 24th dec, and i'm only free like 28th or after. -_- Okie byebye, i shall go sleep and get busy after waking. 5:26 am
