♥ Tuesday, June 22, 2010Whee january post.This two weeks will be busy, so expect no updates. LOLS. January has mainly food, creme brulee for old pal's bday, third anniversary, ice creams, elective project, fruit milkshakes/smoothies, animations of bird eating and random mundane stuffs. Get the ball rolling.  My egg mayo sandwich yayness, completed with dried fruits.  Seriously nissin is my favourite brand of instant noodles, no matter is nissin cqyd or nissin cup noodles. Runner-up is myojo (BIG PRAWN MEE FTW!). =D And oooooh btw i was trying to search for myojo website but it got redirected to nissin website instead. I just realised myojo is under nissin too. Oh wth. -___- Here's nissin and myojo for you. Japanese food somehow never fails me (although most of the products are not made in japan). Korean food is 50%, either a hit or a miss, for me.  I like to use the toilet paper packaging plastic for trashbin cus it's recycling and fits snugly too.  Yay post breakfast cereal is love.  Yay strawberries inside. (A picture with milk later on.)  Nissin cyqd bowl sesame oil flavour gave me two packets of sesame oil, for the first time.  3Ds max. Zz too bad for the floating blanket, lols.  One for giving to bday girl, one for myself. Lols mine don't have heart shape. =C  Saw this labi xiaoxin snack at a korean snacks shop, reminded me of lg who used to watch, so bought one for him. - Prepared the pressie the night before.  Nicely wrapped pressie yay. Haven't been using wrapping papers for years, all along using box or fancy paper bags. But saw a nice wrapping paper, so got inspired to do a japanese style wrap (ha ha not exactly though, it just means no tapes or glue, merely tying). Happy to wrap it better than i expected. Cus inside there're several items, not easy to pack.  Together with a newspaper-style bday card. Okie~ Making of creme brulee. My very first attempt.  Need to separate the yolk from the white. Cus creme brulee contains no egg whites. But this egg separator sucks big time. Yolk kept sliding through anyway, walao eh.  Somehow managed to get one yolk after many tries, by manually removing the egg white.  Second yolk broke. Then mixed together with sugar and cream.  Supposed to add vanilla extract (on the table all along), but i only remember after sending the creme brulee mixture into the oven, super grrr.  Baking with a water-bath.  I don't own a blowtorch, so i attempted to caramelize the sugar on top with the kitchen stove lighter. -_- Produced some grey soot as a result.  While waiting for bday girl at novena square, i had some peanut butter waffles from prima deli. And it sucked big time. You know why?  Not crispy, i'm fine with it. But eeeee it's so squashy although it's freshly made. Not that i purposely squashed it, i only lightly held the waffles in my hand through the paper bag to eat it. And the texture is totally flaccid. Worst waffles ever? Wanted to put candles on the creme brulee, but out of fridge too long, somehow became watery. So ran to prima deli to buy some simple brownie, just to poke candles.  And tadah~~~ Candles chio chio. =D  Yay.  I just went away for 30 seconds to get the brownie so that candles can stand, and this is what she did to my cat~ LOLS. Making the eyebrows balanced, lolsss.  Had yummy ice cream at udders. Kinda forgot the flavours liao, i think they are orange choc bitters, strawberry fields and chocmarsh. And btw the simple brownie from prima deli tasted as if it has been left in the fridge for dunno-how-many days, there was this stale or 'fridge' taste zzz horrible X2. -  Dinner at 85 market is rewarded with cats cartoon on my soya bean drink.  Plus a table with some cat's leftover - fishbone! (Lols u can still spot this at the table number 80+ of 85 market.)  Post strawberry cereal, with milk and avocado~  Gb. (My face not photoshopped don't know why extra shiny.)  I'm not the one who took it ha ha.  She re-adjusted the eyebrows again, now become like that lols. (Anyway i lost the cat by now liao. =C)  Acrobatic bird, i haz it. (Too much of cheezburger liao zzz, LOLSPEAK is very addictive.)  I didn't know popular still sells floppy disks! -  We bought the same skirt cus there was a sale for two skirts, LOLS. And so happened that we like the same design. (Cus other designs all not nice imo ha ha.)  Peeka-peekaaa.  Doh-la-ehhh monnn. (Mouth so big, wth LOLS.)  Illuma outdoor park with flowers. -  Third anniversary, back to the old old esplanade bridge for old old memories.  No comments.  Sir stamford raffles is my idol btw.  Train. Where the ironic happens - living on the opposite shores across singapore. Pictures this time round not v well taken imo, lols but the recent june ones has great photos. =D -  After pompom - when i can spot where the bird's nostrils and ears are, when the wet feathers exposed itself. (I used to wonder where the nose and ears are zzz.)  Two nostrils right above the beak, hidden by feathers. Two ear-holes at each side of the head (quite an expected place for ears), hidden by feathers as well. Btw diagram is not very accurate, my illustration is for reference only. LOLS. -  This almond cracker totally not nice one, imo. Image looks so tempting at the packaging, but inside totally a different story. Wasted my money.  Tom's palette's ice cream. Mine left, with melt & sizzle (with the pops that crackles inside your throat) and white forest (all-time favourite). Yanni's right, with granny's favourite and rum & raisin.  Really craved for milo (with a 5 minutes break), we asked the refill-staff to help get two for us, though they weren't quite ready yet. Shaun was like, "how did you guys managed to get the milo?!"  Didn't know the roof of nafa looks like that with the stairs in order.  Bought a new pair of typical scissors at daiso, and was amused by the instructions. Very duh and ha ha ha.  Stickers for passing temperature-taking at nafa. -  Saw two cats below my block while returning home.  The nearer cat is easier to take picture.  But it doesn't want to open eyes~ LOLS.  Cheezburger-ed! Ha ha. -  Ultimate wrong choice of fruit juices. Will never order kiwi+strawberry again. Killer seeds, damn. Like choking me sia. Felt like drinking water with a lot of sand. Yay bought new pouches in contrast to the dirty old tattered one.  Strawberry smoothie~ Forgot what i added in liao.   NOM NOM NOMS.  Milkshake otw~ Milk, strawberries, ice, mostly vanilla ice cream and dab of leftover strawberry ice cream.  Yum yum. A cup for me and another for lao bu. -  This is the n-th time i received three chopsticks in one packet. -_-  So cute that pokka milk tea comes in packet form.  Flowers outside workplace 1.  Flowers outside workplace 2. - Yay finally can sleep. Tomorrow will be a long day, doing meaningful stuffs. Wednesday too. Plus thursday and friday. Good night, great to have us back on honeymoon track after some long tiresome roller coaster ride. =D 1:50 am
