Not going to be very entertaining.
But nevertheless, this is the july 2010 post for mah 20th bday last year, boo.
And it's a retatively short post.

05jul2010, picnic at ecp (again zzz lols) with lg.

I had never flew a kite before, for the past twenty years. So we decided to fly kite lols.
See, the photograph i took is so nice, at least can see lg's silhouette as well as the kite (albeit vaguely).

Mine cannot see kite though.

Noms.

There was pita bread with egg mayo.

Cocktail chicken sausages, topped with honey mustard.

=)

On the bus back.

Stupidly, my favourite white slippers of more than one year broke.
Had to drag to cheers to buy a pair of temporary slippers.
The pair of new cheapo slippers hurts so bad because it pokes the skin at the T section. Fail.

=)

We saw this cat loitering at the void deck during wee hours.
Fur so thick, the breed is definitely not your typical stray cat. And looks well-fed too. Highly likely is somebody's pet.

06jul2010, the next day at yanni's place for steamboat dinner.

That was our first steamboat gathering. After that, we became very seasoned for more to come, especially with better food, soup and skills. LOLS.

Hua cutting sotong, i wasn't around yet.

I wasn't on time so they had to wait for me to come to start. But i bought good stuffs like mussels, prawns, cockles, baby corns, etc and brought the chilli sauce, holed-ladles and blah. Does that redeem myself? Sorry lar LOLS almost can't live without seafood.

The spread.

This is a staged shot to show that we waited freaking long and the soup refused to boil. Lols.

So we checked the pot.

I pressed the "hot pot" button.
Then yanni said, "You think touch-screen one ah?"
LOLS. But my induction cookers at home all really can press the buttons mah...

Okie so it's manual. Need to slide the ledge at the bottom.
How would i have known? *grumble grumble*

Looks like she was either laughing at a good joke or got scalded by hot soup. LOLS.

LOLS they reuse the candles-spam idea for my cake.
Nope, i did not poke the candle on the maraschino cherry. It is done by the one who always play with food. Ha ha.
And the best part is, i immediately saw the price tag on the plastic wrapper (which goes around the parameter for the triangular slice), directly facing me. LOLS.

=)

Shy girl refused to stand beside the guy she invited (to eat our leftovers ha ha) zzzzz.

I highly suspect that yn was tiptoe-ing, ha ha ha.
Confirm. Double confirm.

One of the gifts from zhili aka old friend. A hand-made felt pouch.
It was supposed to be inspired from my lost cat, as shown below. (Of course the smiley face is not real...)
Wah so much the effort sia. Though i never really use it, because i don't want it get dirty or spoilt.

So sad i dropped it somewhere. I can no longer buy it anymore. Tried to look for another cat, but then all those selling outside are somehow damn ugly not cute at all, hence did not manage to get a new one of my liking.

Okie yay finish.
