Hihi, back again for the new year rush.

Anyhoo or anyway, it's the september 2010 content as follows.

Date unknown, but should be somewhere late august. It's our bear!

Small presentation with the prototype.

Upon lecturer's suggestion, we changed the rectangular anthill bearhill stand into a more hilly-shaped structure to better reflect our concept.

Ongoing progress.

Prototype is up.
(LOLS with the masking tape for overnight security thanks to lousy glue.)

Touristy photographs.

Honestly, can't help feeling that the campus is often a junkyard with all the mess around - for the fact that they fail to provide proper storage areas to keep our works.

Some presentation visuals. Sorry for the watermark - you never know where your stuffs gets to when it's up in the worldwideweb.

LOLS how the heck did the structure fall over?

Bought this "growing" lettuce from cold storage for the novelty of it. LOLS it comes with a tiny pot with soil and attached roots.

And hence, made a simple salad with the lettuce with balsamic dressing (although taste-wise i still prefer my good old ole italian dressing). Other ingredients include tomato chunks, ham slices, boiled baby carrots and sliced olives.

Parade day.

This is a little blu-tac cat i made when i had nothing better to do. LOLS. And that's some cat earstud bought online on the right image.

Sleep-deprived people dozing off during presentation with two lecturers.

Is that a cinderella?

Part of my portfolio.

Tom's palette ice cream again. =)

Left contains chocolate sorbet and salted caramel cheesecake.
Right contains rum and raisins and summer berries.

My flavours resemble yinyang. -_-

Ice cream cone is mine, pink heart(s) is yanni's.

Sorry to brag, but ours definitely look the best when compared to those pin-up serviettes and post-it notes on the wall. Hee hee hee.
Who else will happen to have paper, markers, scissors and tape, on hand anytime anywhere, plus the boliao-ness to do such things? Ans: Nafa students duh.

It's random but one for myself, and one for lg. But mine can haz a cake. =D

Me and lg attempted baked rice for the first time. To be honest, the end result is no good. That's one reason why we probably did not try to make any baked rice again.
This image shows the ingredients: steamed rice, sotong, chicken, sausage and tubed ham.

Then added the campbell's condensed soup as sauce (felt we picked the wrong flavour though, ie garlic mushroom soup or something) and topped up with mozzarella cheese.

After baking. Taste-wise is not satisfactory. =c Ha ha well anyway, lesson learnt.

This starcup bought from mama shop is really so cute. It kinda resembles a mini kinderjoy (with the sweet white chocolate cream and crispy ball in nowhere) and comes with a really tiny spoon.
Ahhhhh i'm a sucker for tiny things!

Pepper lunch with zhili. Pasta was nothing to rave about, although i think i like the texture of the sotong ha ha.

Yay snowskin!

And then was busy with food at home.

It's a kim-made chocolate milkshake yeee-hawww.

Nicer attempt of my creation - mt muji.

These two are not the same image. LOLS.

Favourite myojo big prawn mee, completed with tomatoes, prawns and egg.

Really liked my new necklace, with a mini telephone.
Although i don't wear it anymore because the chain broke and magnet came off and blah blah blah.

Favourite california handroll as always.

Microwaved fourleaves belgium waffle laid on hershey's chocolate sauce and topped with chilly vanilla ice cream.

Fat cat ha ha ha. But still cute. Especially with the folded arm.

-

Morning went to tanjong pagar railway station with lg, just to enjoy the food and architecture. That was before the announcement of ceasing operation at tanjong pagar.

Nasi briyanis and teh tariks. I remember the briyani was overpriced lols.

The next few images will be sepia-toned to dramatise the closure of the railway station LOLS.

Nice and peaceful over there.

Back to urban areas.

Afternoon till night, out at kbox.

I always think this is very cute wor, despite the fact that i felt it might be highly photoshopped (dog and cat don't seem to blend well together without realistic shadows, and cat's closed eyes look unrealistic).

We got a huge room when we only have three pax wahahah. So lucky that they perhaps ran out of smaller rooms. The party room could probably fit close to ten pax, plus it came with a mini stage!

More photos ahead.

Jasmine don't sing, so somehow she was busy with snacking.

More photos.

Some more photos.

Restroom photos lols.

Dinner at just acia.

Parting toilet shot, again. =)

-

Next day at hortpark for site visitation and off for dinner after that.

Exterior of the existing thai restaurant. Need to design a new interior for a new proposed fine-dining restaurant.

Backyard dining.

People, people, our own people.

Bus stop 1.

Bus stop 2.

On board.

Full-meal Overwhelming dinner at bedok hawker.

All these for two. Overkill.
Sugar cane juices, hokkien prawn mee, fried kway teow, fried oyster, fried carrot cake and dumpling soup.

Pictures.

More pictures.

Yeah win.

Miss lim, on the right image, teaches: in order to have your eyes look big, you need to open it wide wide (as if you are shocked or something, lolsss zzz).

Parting shots.

Nothing gained from site visitation of this hotel beside campus. Since we barely made it to room levels (with the help of some indian businessman hotel guests tapping their room access card on the lift to make it move up -_-).

A trip to ikea, managed to fit out a diy cake-stand made of various glasswares. Final product will be shown in the next post.
Indeed very very nice, ha ha sorry to brag but it was really good effect.

Used silicon glue to attach bowl to candlestand, and candlestand to plate. The wineglass is free-standing.

And meanwhile, bought this packet of biscuit to use in the next month of october 2010 for a fabulous celebration, stay tuned!

-

Okie next month's october 2011 issue covers miss lim's 21st bday, fine dining for the sake of research, visiting the turf club with lg to see sprinting horsies, etc. See you soon, definitely will have updates before 2012!
