Hihi finally january 2011 post. More than a year ago.

LOLS.

More miscellaneous stuffs, fyp site recee, duxton, graduation catalogue photoshoot and blahs some food.

Saw some owned teenage cat (with collar) at my neighbourhood. But was naughty. Or whatever you call it.

Because it played with cc - an insect which i dislike most.

And it played inside the drain. Dirty cat, meow. Definitely not an ideal obedient cat LOLS.

All the bananas strange figurines in the world section of the room, unite.
The continuation from previous post.

This is a spicy chai tau kway fortress which is not built by yours truly.

Making more small figurines for next assignment of a stage/set based on the novel, waiting for godot, which has an abstract storyline seemingly pointing at the existence of nothing.

It was up to us to interpret. I refer the storyline based on the author's history - participant in wartime. Hence i chose military-influenced costumes. The story only mentioned a tree, mount (or stone to sit on) and the changing sky colour.

On a side note, i prefer the figurine in the sitting position because i obviously felt the proportions look better. (I always make flat-looking standing figurines, damn it. -_-)

Ikea al fresco dining again. Breakfast for two, although i think it looked like breakfast for four. LOLS. We have big appetite, cannot is it.
Missed their breakfast though, now it has been really irritating - their breakfast hours are 9.30-10.30am, but the breakfast sets are all sold out when you reach at 10am sharp. So annoying and disappointing. =c

A not-bad tasting rum-flavoured box of individually wrapped melt-in-your-mouth chocolates cubes which is really good for the price. Like the bitterish taste inside.

And let's take a look at what a chinese classmate's usual tin of pocket chocolates is. Premium stuffs! LOLS he told us this little small tin cost over $20 (can't exactly remember) and his mother only buy this chocolate whenever she visited singapore. Sounds like tai-tai to me. LOLS.

Lols in case jasmine you are wondering, it belonged to tianyi, ha ha.

Lols second neoprint ever taken together after four years. Supposedly for the forth anniversary though it was dated 10jan11 instead of 15jan11.
Fifth year no hab neoprints. =c LOLS.

Spotted my rollover partition screen thing in the middle, lols freaking round.

Fancy a mini sundae? Shotglass vanilla ice cream with chocolate syrup and strawberry pocky sticks for you.

It's really cuteee lols. =D

Actually there were at least two trips to my chosen fyp site.
There are way more pictures, but no point to put them all here.

Along craig road, which is right behind the pinnacle@duxton. Fyp site is the grey unit shophouse with the extra jackroof up there, and a lorry in front.

Back view, the grey unit on the left. I really like the windows and double-volume outdoor terrace.

That time i did a small check. The fyp site was indeed supposed to be the closed-down waxing/beauty saloon that made a big hoo-ha in the news for scamming membership's money and closing down, running away. LOLS.

Took measurement for the neighbour's (children's education establishment) door instead because we could not get near to the door in subject - the workers were spraying water down (possibly washing the outdoor terrace or watering the planter) and it was really wet (lols water leaking to the next door too, as seen in the pictures).

A possible reference of the roof structure in these shophouses, although this was not the exact unit we were looking at.
It demonstrates the lightwell (dent/hole in the middle) that allows air and light into the structure (since the units were narrow and windowless other than front and back).
For modern modifications, lightwells are often sealed off with glass panels to stop rain's entrance since ventilation is no longer a issue with air-conditioner.

A carpark along craig road was saturated with all the luxurious cars, wth look at those... o.O

Cutting through the carpark leads you to the peaceful and beautiful duxton hill.

One look, and i can only tell you that it totally seems like a prefect place to hold a wedding or something. LOLS.

=) Then we went up pinnacle@duxton for the fun boliaoism of it.

50th storey here we go there we went! Standard ear popping caused by the change-of-air-pressure issue wth.

Do not look down if you have acrophobia.

Actually we did not go through the gates. It was really a hassle to make payment and stuffs.
Something like you need to go somewhere at the bottom of the building to fill up your ezlink with $5 entrance value before you can use the gates zzz.

You can see through the fences and gate though, lols. Able to view far, and it was super windy up there.

For a second we did consider celebrating jasmine's bday up there, but there was a list of rules like no music, no food allowed, blah blah. No point lar. LOLS no food is a bummer.

Then go up there do what sia, other to enjoy the wind and scenery? Zzz. The beach also has wind and scenery, plus you can eat, drink, run, play, cycle, kite, fish, blah blah.

Still never understood the hype with koi. The first koi i had was at marine parade many many years ago, where nobody bothered to queue at an overpriced drink outlet. It did not taste anything fantastic, memorable or special. It wasn't popular at all back in 2008 or sometime there, and the business looked bleak.

Fast forward to 2012, full of queues, and i still cannot appreciate it. LOLS.

招财 garfield. Are you sure more wealth will come? I think more lasagnas will come to you instead. LOLS.

John and quoc playing with dunking machines.

And... Are bus rides really so sleep-inducing???

Photoshoot for graduation catalogue.

We had only these five singaporean girls in our class, and two other singaporean guys (not pictured here) too.
I'm the only black-head here i realise, lols.

Waiting and waitings.

It's always fun to watch others' turns.

Photographer is also graduating in same course, but from a different major.

Candid previews from bystanders' point of view.

The class. =D

We each get a pack of cute bear cookies (salty hello panda) from classmate, dona, yay.

Suki yaki with lg again! Although it has already closed down by now.

Breakdown of some food. Pinks are mine, blues are his and greens are ours.

See, neatly stacked dishes. LOLS cleaning our table must be easier for their staff.
Anyway skipped the yaki (ice cream cooking) session because it is pointless (no real fun, barely can freeze any ice cream to eat, taste no good either way).
