Three days ago was
NDP'07.
Cheers for those who enjoyed. (I know my two juniors marching for national tv do. Hahs.)
Umm this year didn't really felt the ndp spirit. Lols. So, i shall
do a recap of last year, which is 4E '06. And u guys can reminisce the good times also mah. I'm indeed nostalgic sia. Lols. (So lazy me. Three days later then put this ndp post. Rather late, but nvm. Lols happy 就好 lo.)
It was a yearly tradition for us to make use of the ndp half-sch-day (aka the 8th august) to organise a party to celebrate miss ho's bday, tgt with jeremy (j-chu) and adeline (2006 then we realised, lols sry sia). Here are some pics of the previous year.

Won't daresay busy. Okie, but then hectic lately. I do get enough rest (obviously), but just still feel like i don't.
Meow just came back from vet earlier on. Then we went for this sakura at marine parade. (Pics related matters will be uploaded later on. Ya later, later. Lols.) Then have to start planning for a class wedding gift for mrs tan gonnabe. Hahs.
So i shall say the plan for the gift right now. Me and zhili thought about this, and not too sure u all would agree or not.
01) silver/white gold diamond necklace [budget <$280] 02) lingerie for the wedding night (lols) [budget <$80] 03) two bears homemade, in gb and bb uniforms [budget <$50] Details here. 01) with at least a
small diamond pendant cus wedding is a once-in-a-lifetime thing, cannot just give a cheapskate one. while diamond(s) too big will be over-budget.
02) should be like
see-through. naughty class, lols. cus she is a v traditional person as we all know. so might as well we buy for her lo. checked already, freesize. so no need worry whether can fit or not. =D
03) miss ho is supposedly gb liason, aka tcher-in-charge. while edward tan is bnss bb officer (and head-boy). n we're not v sure if they met bcus of edward tan being an officer here in the first place, but then we reckon so. hahs in anyway, both of them being in the brigade ministry is a significant thing in their life. so when they're old and look at these bears, will remind of them their past. the bears shall be bought from shop, and yes clothing would be
homemade indeed. we do have like 2 gbs n 2 bbs in the class to contribute their knowledge on the uniforms as guides to sew the clothing. estimated cost for the two bears and materials is as above mentioned.
According to the budget, if like ard 20+ to 30 peeps, it'd be like
$15-$20 that each will have to chip in. Would u guys mind? It'd be good if i get response. Thanks hor.

Joke of the day. Long but worth it. It's not really funny as in will burst out laughing. But quite interesting in anyway.
Four friends, who hadn't seen each other in 30 years, reunited at a party. After several drinks, one of the men had to use the gents. Those who remained talked about their kids.
The first guy said, "My son is my pride and joy. He started working at a successful company at the bottom of the barrel. He studied Economics and Business Administration and soon began to climb the corporate ladder and now he's the president of the company. He became so rich that he gave his best friend a top of the line Mercedes for his birthday."
The second guy said, "Darn, that's terrific! My son is also my pride and joy. He started working for a big airline, and then went to flight school to become a pilot. Eventually he became a partner in the company, where he owns the majority of its assets. He's so rich that he gave his best friend a brand new jet for his birthday."
The third man said: "Well, that's terrific! My son studied in the best universities and became an engineer. Then he started his own construction company and is now a multimillionaire. He also gave away something very nice and expensive to his best friend for his birthday: A 30,000 square foot mansion."
The three friends congratulated each other just as the fourth returned from the loo and asked: "What are all the congratulations for?" One of the three said: "We were talking about the pride we feel for the successes of our sons. What about your son?"
The fourth man replied: "My son is gay and makes a living Dancing as a stripper at a nightclub."
The three friends said: "What a shame... What a disappointment."
The fourth man replied: "No, I'm not ashamed. He's my son and I love him. And he hasn't done too badly either. His birthday was two weeks ago, and he received a beautiful 30,000 square foot mansion, a brand new jet and a top of the line Mercedes from his three boyfriends."

11 people were hanging on a rope under a helicopter, 10 men and 1 woman.
The rope was not strong enough to carry them all, so they decided that one had to leave, otherwise they were all going to fall.
They weren't able to designate a person, until the woman gave a very touching speech. She said that she would voluntarily let go of the rope, because as a woman, she was used to giving up everything for her husband and kids; or for men in general, and she was used to always making sacrifices, with little in return.
As soon as she finished her speech, all the men started clapping.

Meow meow.
This was on 18jul07. It was meowing so loudly that i can hear it from my house. Hence, i went downstairs to check. Then found it like fur wet, dirty and smelly in a dustpan. (Wet cus of urine, smelt of urine also lo.)
Then called spca. They told me either bring it to mt vernon (public transport wont allow mah) or police post. So brought to police post in a shoe box.
Then again i got two choices after the policelady called the spca again. Either leave it with the police until spca arrives to take it away (chance of being put to slp) or keep it. So brought it home lo. Then the person of spca told me on the line on tips to take care of the young feline.
Buy pet's milk at any pet shop, warm it up. Feed with syringe.
Pet shop's advice. Milk bottle serves the same function as syringe. Wrap with towel to keep it warm.
In basin, after bathing.
Supposedly a female. Anyway i didn't give it a name. Cus it is likely leave me soon, thus not really belonging to me. Better not name whoever that's not mine. Hahs. Very noisy at home. Then shit and pee on the floor. Sigh, too young to eat by itself, too young to be litter-trained.
And ya. It likes the heat radiated out from my laptop charger.
